April 25

As we returned to in person services along with  on line services, it appears  things are going fairly smoothly. If you have noticed anything or have any concerns, please take a moment to let Fr. Rob know.

I continue to work mainly from home but do spend several hours a week in the office.  If you should need to meet with me, please let me know and I will arrange to meet you at St. James House.  All calls made to the church number are forwarded to my cell.  If you call and I don’t answer, please leave a voice mail, it will distinguish you from those calling with solicitations!

May 23rd Fr. Willmann will be baptizing Henry Charles Shackelford. He was born on 12/18/2020 at Genesis Hospital. Henry’s parents are Kelsey and Tyler Shackelford.

Kelsey writes “Over the last few years I have become familiar with St. James because of my brother in law’s family. His grandmother was Ruth Denhart, who always spoke so highly of the church and the people in it. My sister and brother in law, Kyla and Andy Kappers, were married in your church and recently had their daughter baptized there. Kyla Kappers and Jordan Dillon will be Henry’s Godparents.

Many, many thanks to Maggie Collins, Chris Collins, and Barb Saunders who helped prep the gardens and urns before Easter.  Maggie and I pruned the roses and worked on cleaning beds last week. This week Carol Thompson patiently worked on a long overdue pruning of our Japanese maple.

We welcome anyone and everyone who would like to help in our gardens. There’s always something growing and requiring attention! I can be reached at 740 403 2527. See you in the garden!
